Dental Crowns and Bridges

Dental crowns cover damaged teeth, restoring strength and appearance. Bridges replace missing teeth by anchoring to nearby teeth. Both improve chewing, speech, and confidence while preventing shifting teeth and supporting long-term oral health for daily function.

  • Detailed Planning

Our comprehensive crown planning process begins with a thorough evaluation, followed by a collaborative discussion of treatment options. Advanced imaging and precision technology guide every step.

  • Custom Solutions

Each dental crown is meticulously customized to your unique anatomy, ensuring a precise fit, natural aesthetics, and durable function, restoring strength, comfort, and confidence with advanced materials and clinician-guided design.

  • Lasting Results

Our custom dental crowns are crafted from premium materials for exceptional strength and longevity, restoring function and beauty with durable solutions designed to withstand years of everyday use.

Our Dental Crown and Bridge Process

When you receive a crown at Opus Dental Esthetics, you can always expect a process based on science and focused on your needs and goals, from start to finish.

1. Consultation and Evaluation

To start the crown process, a comprehensive evaluation is completed to examine your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and bite to identify signs of stress, disease, or instability. Using diagnostic X-rays, your doctor determines if you need crowns, inlays, onlays, or another treatment, and what option is best for your situation.

2. Treatment Planning

When moving forward, your treatment blueprint sets the path for your restorative procedure, including a planned timeline for completion. It may also include digital imaging and 3-D models. Our goal is to achieve an optimal outcome as pleasantly and efficiently as possible, with your schedule and life factors in mind.

3. Initial Restoration

Once your crown or bridge treatment plan is finalized, we will create a temporary restoration for you to wear while your final dental restoration is crafted in the dental laboratory. The temporary protects your tooth and, in many situations, serves as a “dress rehearsal” for your finalized crown. After wearing the temporary, we can make adjustments to your final crown based on your feedback.

4. Final Restoration

The last step in the process is placing and fitting the final crown or bridge. Your doctor will assess the fit, function, and appearance of your restoration, and adjust as needed. Once you confirm it looks great and fits well, it will be cemented or bonded in place.

As part of your treatment plan, we build in extra time for final adjustments if necessary. Our team settles for nothing less than the best when it comes to the fit, function, and appearance of your crown.
